Description

It was October 2000 when Skogen Sprang first appeared on the cover of Powder magazine riding the original prototype of the now legendary Mothership. The photo was shot in Alaxka and the article titled, "The Future". The production model was released the following year as the fattest ski in the industry at a 98mm waist. It rode years ahead of its time with a blend of stability and agility that simply didn't exist on big mountain freeride skis of the day. The fact that it continually crushed all expectations and the limits of big mountain ski performance gained it an instant cult following that never died.

Line has brought back the Mothership name in the spirit of the original. The pioneering innovations found on this one-of-a-kind, hand crafted ski sets it apart from any other ski in existance. It's now 2008 and time again for the Mothership to set the pace for big mountain skis of the future to be measured by.
