The DC Status snowboard boot features the Boa Focus System™, a technology with two zones, the upper and lower portions, for tightening allowing for the ultimate in customized fit. The Double Lasted Midsole on the Status allows for a simple, ultra clean look while still putting your foot closer to the board. The result: a lower profile and more board feel. The Status also features DC's new supportive Exo Air Skeleton. The system provides additional support to the heel area of the boot, protecting against those high impact, big landings. DC designers have gone on to integrate the RECCO® Avalanche Rescue System as a safeguard in case things go wrong on the mountain. To protect against winter elements, the Status features Outlast® to regulate temperature, both hot and cold; Synthetic Leather for water resistance; and a new Injected TPR Toe Cap, also increasing durability. Finally, as you'd expect from DC. comfort has been kept top of mind. DC has included a redesigned 3-D Tongue, a Foam Lined Calf Pad, an Adjustable Internal Ankle Brace, and DC's Alpha liner for support, response, and all-around comfort.

Fit Tip: All Boots seem to stretch out about 1/2 size. It is normal to have a smaller Boot size than your shoe size to compensate for the boots stretching and getting "BIGGER" from how they feel in the store.
-Make sure to work with a boot tech person to fit the boot to the "SHAPE" of your foot. Fit Shape is vital to the performance of any brand of boot. Be sure to walk around in the boots(10-15min) fully laced to help make sure they are the correct shape for your foot.
-For improved fit and comfort consider adding a CUSTOM FOOTBED like "Superfeet" that is properly matched to your arch shape. This will help the boot anatomically support your foot which will reduce pressure points and securely hold your foot in place.

Boot Features:

• RECCO® AVALANCHE SYSTEM: DC has integrated the RECCO® Reflector as an aesthetic and functional feature. The RECCO® Reflector enable rapid directional pinpointing of a rider's precise location in snow.
• INTERNAL ANKLE BRACE: The adjustable Internal Ankle Brace laces up and secures the liner inside the boot. This helps prevent heel lift and provides a snug fit.
• EXO AIR SKELETON: Air caged-in by strong custom molded plastic in the heel area of the boot creates the ultimate combination of structure, support, and heel impact cushioning.
• 3-D TONGUE: The boot's tongue is ergonomically engineered to conform to natural curvature of the lower leg. Normally the shell of the snowboard boot is sewn in two spots to accommodate the curve and the flex of the shin to the leg. With 3-D Tongue the construction is seamless to offer flexibility instead of creating pinch points or hot spots areas as the front of the leg curls to the boots.
• ARTICULATED UPPER CUFF: The Articulated Upper Cuff construction provides excellent support without sacrificing flex. It gives you more lateral and forward flex it's like instant boot break-in.
• BOA FOCUS SYSTEM™: DC has joined with Boa Technology to take customization to the next level with the Boa Focus System™. Now with three zones for tightening, the Focus System evenly distributes pressure on both the lower and the upper of the boot, creating the ultimate custom fit.
• DOUBLE LASTED: With this type of construction, the shell of the upper is wrapped around the performance features of the midsole, and then both are bonded to the durable outsole. The result is a thin, lower profile toe that allows for tons of board feel. You know the technology is still there, but things stay clean looking.
