Softer flexing than its Burning Luv counterpart, the One Luv excels on piste, but still has the ability to venture off piste. With a women's specific Bioflex core, and MOD Monic, the One Luv is high performing, yet forgiving. Combining the Bioflex core and the MOD Monic Technology enables effortless turn initiation and vibration reduction, essential for any advanced skier.
Description
The K2 Women's One Luv Alpine Ski with Marker Piston M1 11.0 TC Bindings combines a women's-specific ski with an all-mountain carving package. The One Luv Alpine Ski comes equipped with precisely what you're looking for in an on-hill partner—forgiving flex. The One Luv's torsion box construction delivers a smooth ride over conditions ranging from early morning ‘roy to late afternoon slop. If you enjoy all-mountain exploration, arcing big turns, and skiing from first chair to last, prepare yourself—this ski could be THE one. Marker Piston M1 11.0 TC Bindings are designed for intermediate to advanced skiers. With DIN settings of 3-11, these bindings are perfect for lighter-weight skiers.

Torsion Box: Our Torsion Box construction is our most widely used, yet simplest lay-up. This construction is a Triaxially braided wood core ski. Braided Torsion Box skis tend to have lively and energetic characteristics that provide a high degree of rebound and performance. A Triaxially Braided wood core ski is still the bench mark and we continue to use it so widely because of its versatility and its ability to create so many different kinds of skis depending on the amount of flex and torsion designed into the construction. Build from top down: Glass, MOD Structure, Glass, Triaxial Braided Wood Core, Glass,Steel Edges/Base.

MOD Monic: Praised by magazine tests and validated by skiers around the world, MOD Technology has proven to be the state-of-the-art in ski design today. MOD combines an elastomeric secondary core which works as a high performance suspension system and mass damper to provide the highest degree of ease, power, forgiveness and performance available in skis today. Mass is the most effective dampener available. The amount, application and distribution of mass are the keys to the success of MOD Technology. At K2, unlike any other manufacturer, our application of mass, via the MOD structure, does not affect flex, allowing the ski to perform freely, while MOD absorbs unwanted vibrations independently. Keynotes: • Secondary core independent of wood core. • Dampens vibrations without affecting overall ski flex. • Reduces chatter, vibrations and overall ski noise. • Aids in better ski-to-snow contact.

Triaxial Braided: Triaxial Braiding was introduced by K2 in 1988 and has withstood the test of time to rise to the top as the best torsion box construction process available. The patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the skis wood core at 38 degrees to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness. The end result is a ski with greater sensitivity and better turn response with less effort.

BioFlex core: Working with the Alliance Team to further develop our line of women-specific skis has lead to BioFlex—a breakthrough multi-wood core technology. Used exclusively on our T:Nine series of skis, the combination of two distinctively different woods, fir and spruce, provide the best of two desired traits in a woman's ski—stability and forgiveness. Not just different layers of wood, but completely different cores fused together at the tip and tail. Spruce, a light, soft, wood is used in the extremities of the tip and tail, and fir, a more solid, dense wood is used underfoot. The Spruce provides the turn initiation, lightweight characteristics, and overall ease that T:Nine skis have come to be known for. The Fir underfoot provides an all new level of confidence inspiring control, predictability and stability. Exclusive to the T:Nine line of skis, Bioflex core technology makes a giant leap forward in women-specific ski technology.
