This Pep Fujas park-specific pro model features a soft, unconventional flex pattern designed to accommodate the proclivities of park, pipe, and urban assault artists. Huge ollie power is combined with a mushy feel, which is mandatory for tip and tail presses, butters, and smearing landings off rails. The fatty 85mm waist and reasonable 113mm tip makes the Fujative Alpine Ski a worthy powder ride for days when the tables are too slow to hit. The width underfoot also makes for an excellent landing pad. When Pep Fujas helped K2 design his pro-model ski, he made one stipulation: it had to be affordable. Triaxial Braided-Triaxial Braiding was introduced by K2 in 1988 and has withstood the test of time to rise to the top as the best torsion box construction process available. The patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the skis wood core at 38 degrees to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness. The end result is a ski with greater sensitivity and better turn response with less effort.
