This unique creation is Pep Fujas' brainchild and fits his desire to have a ski designed as the ultimate park tool. It is kept super stiff underfoot with the Triaxial braided core to retain its ability to stomp landings and not wash out in transitions. The ski escapes traditional ski design towards both the tip and tail, where a distinctive wood core allows it to be flexed and pressed in ways most other skis cannot compete with. The cap construction keeps the weight to a minimum while the strands of carbon fiber maximize your ollie power.

Description

The K2 Fujative Alpine Ski tops the list of America's most-wanted fatty jib skis. This Pep Fujas park-specific pro model features a soft, unconventional flex pattern designed to accommodate the proclivities of park, pipe, and urban assault artists. Huge ollie power is combined with a mushy feel, which is mandatory for tip and tail presses, butters, and smearing landings off rails. The fatty 85mm waist and reasonable 113mm tip makes the Fujative Alpine Ski a worthy powder ride for days when the tables are too slow to hit. The width underfoot also makes for an excellent landing pad. When Pep Fujas helped K2 design his pro-model ski, he made one stipulation: it had to be affordable. K2 listened to this, and every other suggestion from the freeride phenom, creating an affordable, progressive, widely sought-after K2 park ski. *Available for US shipment only.

Features:
  • PERFORMANCE: Performance Park and Pipe
  • DIMENSIONS: 113/85/104
  • Torsion Box Construction- Our Torsion Box construction is our most widely used, yet simplest lay-up. This construction is a Triaxially braided wood core ski. Braided Torsion Box skis tend to have lively and energetic characteristics that provide a high degree of rebound and performance. A Triaxially Braided wood core ski is still the bench mark and we continue to use it so widely because of its versatility and its ability to create so many different kinds of skis depending on the amount of flex and torsion designed into the construction. Build from top down: Glass, MOD Structure, Glass, Triaxial Braided Wood Core, Glass,Steel Edges/Base.
  • Twin Tip-
  • Triaxial Braided-Triaxial Braiding was introduced by K2 in 1988 and has withstood the test of time to rise to the top as the best torsion box construction process available. The patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the skis wood core at 38 degrees to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness. The end result is a ski with greater sensitivity and better turn response with less effort.
  • Vertical cap-
  • Tip and tail rivets-
