Product Info

K2 knows that traditionally laced boots can have limits, so they continue to design new ways to get the most out them. New for the 23-24 season, the Overdraft continues K2's pursuit of design perfection. The Overdraft allows for lace perfection by adding a powerstrap up top and Conda™ liner lacing inside. There is an unlimited combination of lacing and support so you can get the ideal hold whether you are pressing boxes, tweaking airs, or slashing turns in the pow.

  • Intuition® Comfort Foam 3D Liner
  • Articulating Cuff Upper
  • Fast-In Liner Lacing System
  • Harshmellow™️ Footbed

Intermediate boots are for the rider who is confident and capable in the pursuits on the mountain. The rider who is looking for support and features for their level of riding.

Medium flexing boots offer more support and stability as you progress, allowing you more control as your confidence and ability grow. They are also ideal for freestyle inspired riding with enough flex for tweaks and pressing. They tend to be more comfortable as well as offer basic heat-molding and custom fitting capabilities.

Traditional Lace w/ BOA® Conda™

Get the best of both worlds with traditional laces and BOA®. K2's braided textile laces offer a tried and true feel and customizable fit while the BOA® Conda™ urethane harness gently hugs your ankle. BOA® Conda™ creates unrivaled heel hold and allows for adjusting liner tightness and heel hold on the fly from outside of the boot, even with gloves on.

Intuition® Comfort Foam 3D Liner

Focused on out-of-the-box fit and lasting comfort, this liner has a forgiving flex and is packed with internal J-Bars for added ankle support.

Fast-In Liner Lacing

No frills adjustment and locks solid for all day fit and comfort. Easy to use and comfortable all day long.

Harshmellow™ Footbed

New for 22/23, K2 incorporate their proprietary Harshmellow™ damping into the layup of all the footbeds in their boots. The result is superior vibration absorbing and comfort for all day riding around the resort.

This Grips™ Premium Freestyle Outsole w/ Harshmellow™

Premium dual-density rubber outsole featuring K2’s proprietary This Grips™ Compound. Taking inspiration from modern skate footwear, their new cupsole outsole features a rounded heel for less drag while hiking, a wrapped arch for support and stability, and vibration damping Harshmellow™ in the heel and forefoot.

Fit Tip: C+ width with medium volume fit in heel and instep

Fitting Your Boots

– To properly assess the fit of any boot you must lace or buckle it completely. The boot will feel small until you do this because your toes will be pushed to the front until laced or buckled. Also, keep in mind all boot liners stretch out and get bigger.

– First, lace or buckle the boot loosely. Next, flex into the boot to drive your heel into the heel pocket. Doing this makes room for your toes. Lastly, finish lacing or buckling the boot in a flexed position.

– Be sure to wear the boots for at least 10 minutes fully laced or buckled before making a determination. Remember these boots are not made for walking, keep your knees slightly bent and flexed forward into riding position. When doing this your heels should be pushed into the back of the boot and your toes should be comfortable.

– You should wear the thinnest sock you are comfortable with. Blood flow is the number one thing that keeps your feet warm. Adding more material around your feet with thicker socks increases the chances of reducing blood flow.

– To help your foot sit properly in your boot, you may consider an aftermarket footbed like Superfeet® or Sidas®. A footbed with arch support, not just cushion, helps align your foot in the shell and alleviates pressure points. Footbeds should be sized to your arch height and length, not your shoe size.

– Spend some time choosing your boots, they are the most important piece of your gear!
